Activities
Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar
Time: Arrival at Zanzibar airport at 4:30 PM.
Activity: Meet and greet followed by a transfer to Stone Town.
Accommodation: Check in at Dhow Palace Hotel for an overnight stay.
Transfer: Airport to Hotel.
Day 2: City Tour & The Rock Restaurant
09:00 AM: Pick up from the hotel for a Stone Town tour. Explore significant historical and cultural sites including the former slave market site, now an Anglican church, the town market, Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder, old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, and Old Indian Dispensary.
02:00 PM: Transfer to the hotel on North or East coast via Maruhubi Palace ruins and Living Stone House.
06:00 PM: Dinner at The Rock restaurant followed by an overnight stay at Mnarani Beach Cottage.
Accommodation: Mnarani Beach Cottage.
Day 3: Mnemba Island
Explore Mnemba Atoll, known for its excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities, with diverse marine life including green turtles and dolphins. Visit prominent diving sites such as Kichwani, the Aquarium, Wattabomi (also known as Eel City), Small Wall, and Kokota Reef.
Post-diving: Travel northwards through the countryside, experiencing Zanzibar as the Spice Island, with a visit to spice farms and tropical gardens. Conclude the day with a drop-off at Jambiani.
Include: Lunch and soft drink.
Transfer: Nungwi to Jambiani.
Accommodation: Mnarani Beach Cottage.
Day 4: Jozani Forest / Prison Island Tour
09:00 AM: Depart for Jozani Forest, famous for its rare Red Colobus monkeys. Following the forest tour, proceed to Stone Town for a trip to Prison Island, also known as Changuu Island. Enjoy the historical site, giant tortoises, and natural beauty before returning to the hotel.
Transfer: Hotel to Jozani Forest to Stone Town and back to Hotel.
Accommodation: Dhow Inn Hotel.
Day 5: Departure
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel followed by relaxation or last-minute activities depending on your flight schedule.
05:00 AM: Meet your driver/guide who will transfer you to the airport for your departure.
Transfer: Hotel to Airport.
